Charter Catamaran, ASCENSION is a wonderfully equipped Lagoon 620 catamaran with a modern and elegant look.

Accommodating 8 guests in 4 spacious double cabins, Ascension boasts a spacious salon on the main deck. Her outdoor areas are equally impressive and offer a number of spaces to relax and unwind whilst enjoying exceptional views.

Ascension boasts wide range of water toys available onboard for guests to use including but not limited to; Highfield 460 Sport tender with 90HP, x4 stand up paddle-boards, a Seadoo Spark jetski, a wakeboard and kite surfing equipment – ensuring seamless entertainment for those who are ready to create unforgettable memories.

The experienced crew of 3 provides outstanding service and offers guests a fun and memorable charter experience.

Meet the resident crew onboard yacht Ascension!

Captain – MATÍAS BÓVEDA
Matías was born and raised in Argentina. He learned how to sail with his father in the brave Atlantic southern seas. He continued his life at sea in Brazil and Barcelona, where he worked for four years in Quantum Sails as sailmaker. Over the years, Matias has gained valuable experience as a captain on multiple sailing yachts, high-performance racing yachts and motor yachts. He has numerous nautical miles under his belt with deliveries in the Caribbean Sea, Atlantic crossings and completed his 200 and 500 ton Captain’s licenses.

Captain Maías is also an expert in kitesurfing, foil surfing, wing foil and he is an avid Scuba diver. He holds exceptional problem-solving abilities, combined with empathic leadership skills.

Matías has been Ascension’s Catamaran’s Captain since 2021, managing the crew and charters ensuring every guest that steps onboard has a safe and memorable experience in the most amazing spots!

Chef – EDEN CÓRDOVA
Eden originates from the Riviera Maya in Mexico and he has previously been devoted to working as a dedicated chef of private tourist houses, combining creativity with meticulous attention to detail.

Eden’s Innovative menus reflect his ancestral Mexican exquisite tastes with an international fusion, fulfilling each guest’s preferences onboard whilst tantalising their tastebuds! He has hosted special events, thematic dinners and weddings; he is the strategic planner of menus, groceries, and steward supervision. Eden will be sure to make all charter’s aboard Ascension deliciously unforgettable!

First Mate / Deckhand – NICOLAS PINCIROLI (From December 17-24, 2023 & January 28, 2024 onwards)

A true adventurer of the sea and a lover of winds, Nicolas made his passion for kitesurfing a full time profession. He is an instructor in Wing Foil and Kitesurf and has visited the best kite-spot around the world. Nicolas set up a Kite School in his hometown of Villa Gesel, Argentina.

He has lived in Brazil, Italy and the Caribbean, where sailing and diving became his other two huge interests. As part of the crew, Nicolas combines his teaching spirit, contagious enthusiasm for an ocean lifestyle and friendly hosting which in-turn encourages guests to enjoy life as much as he does.

All crew members are a professional team who work extremely well together to ensure their guests charter vacation is completely seamless from start to finish!

Captain Matias, Chef Eden & First Mate Nicolas all look forward to welcoming you onboard Ascension!

Toasted bread served with an array of delights: creamy butter, luscious jam, and an assortment of cheeses

Waffles or the classic appeal of Hotcakes, both accompanied by rich Maple Syrup and crispy bacon.

Eggs prepared to your preference and imagination – whether they’re scrambled, fried, boiled, or poached – they’re served alongside zesty homemade salsa and warm handmade tortillas.

Italian Bruschetta Trio: a classic combination of tomato and basil, the creaminess of goat cheese and roasted red pepper, and the allure of smoked salmon with dill.

Melted Cheese Delight, accompanied by chorizo, variety of peppers, and tortillas invitingly ready for dipping.
Fresh Fish elegantly rests atop a bed of plantain puree and delicate baby vegetables.

Grilled Ribeye accompanied by luscious mashed potatoes, Parmesan crisp, and sautéed vegetables.

Fish Tacos adorned with chipotle mayo and crunchy lettuce, all within the embrace of handcrafted tortillas.

Spaghetti featuring flambe Langoustines in a gentle tomato embrace.

Mushroom Risotto

Exquisite Mexican Chicken: tender chicken or turkey enveloped in a velvety mole sauce infused with chocolate, chilies, and aromatic spices, accompanied by rice and tortillas.

Chicken Curry, where marinated chicken luxuriates in a creamy curry sauce, harmonized with fragrant saffron rice and the warm embrace of naan bread.

Grilled Steak with Chimichurri: a succulent steak crowned with zesty chimichurri sauce, partnered with roasted potatoes and a mixed green salad.

Additional Rate Details:
All-Inclusive rates include: Yacht, crew, provisions, full ships bar, cruising permits, and fuel. Rate does not include crew gratuity. Gratuity is customary at 15-20% of the cost of the charter.
