Jeff Hurd and his chef/mate welcome you aboard DRUMBEAT 1 for the vacation of a lifetime!
Jeff hails from Colorado where he was born and raised. Jeff has a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology where he spent two years living with traditional cultures throughout the world. Before coming to the beautiful Caribbean, he held a faculty position at Colorado State University where he made documentary films for five years. He is the owner and captain of DRUMBEAT 1 and holds a 100 ton Master Mariners License. He is also a PADI certified scuba diver and private pilot. Jeff enjoys sharing with guests his extensive knowledge of the islands and his many adventures!

Jeff is joined by a professional mate and chef, as well as by “Pepper”, a small coconut retriever.

• Almond Stuffed French Toast – Thick slices of cinnamon bread filled with almond cream cheese, topped with blackberry syrup, and served with hot bacon.
• Peach Blintz – Thin crepes filled with a blend of cheeses and juicy peaches, then drizzled with fresh peach syrup.
• Omelet’s – A three-egg omelet made to order filled with whatever your little heart desires.

Captain Jeff knows the great secluded snorkeling spots.
He was experienced seamen and used caution when winds were above 15 knots.
Captain Jeff took us to shore when we wanted to go, no questions.
1st mate/chef was fantastic. She helped dock, more, anchor, winch the sheets, clean cabins, prepare fantastic appetizers and meals, etc. We couldn't ask for more.
Drumbeat was very comfortable and well maintained.
Any maintenance that was done was in the middle of the night like a well-managed resort. 5 stars.
The itinerary was excellent. Captain Jeff knew all the great secluded snorkeling spots and took advantage of them when winds were above 15 knots. He had safety in mind.
There was plenty of snorkeling and dive equipment on board. There was also a windsurfer and kayak on board that we did not use. 5-star food and drinks.
We are discussing a repeat. My family really enjoyed this trip. It was fantastic.

Lock in the Dates
Once we find the perfect boat, your broker will place a complimentary 10 day hold while we review all the details of the charter.
Sign A Contract
Reserve the Yacht by signing a standard yacht charter agreement and placing a 25% deposit. Then, do your happy dance, you're booked!
Get Ready to go!
A preference sheet will be sent to you by your charter specialist and crew will provision the yacht with all of your favorite foods and drinks.
