Captain Jeff holds a USCG 200 ton Near-Coastal Masters license and has been operating boats commercially for over 16 years. Hailing from Mississippi, Jeff cultivated his love for boats and the water in his adult life and can’t imagine doing anything else. He is originally trained as a high level dive instructor and naturally progressed to earning a captain’s license to operate the boats he’d previously worked on as crew. Running crewed charters allows for a more relaxed pace and the ability to tailor charters to each guest’s preferences, something that was more difficult to accomplish on dive boats. Jeff is a wealth of knowledge about the BVI, so make sure you listen in for “story time with Captain Jeff” while on charter.

Caitlin Nichols

Caitlin also comes to chartering from a professional diving and marine research background. She spent 13 seasons in the BVI working as the chef alongside Jeff on smaller boats, but is looking forward to a more guest-forward role as the sole stewardess on board. Ask her about her favorite cocktail to mix or card game to teach! Caitlin also loves getting in the water for guided snorkel tours or dives with the guests, dusting off her marine science degree to talk about fish behavior and biology.

Valentina Saenz de Regadera was born and raised in Viña del Mar, Chile, where her love of food grew from a family shaped by European culinary traditions and vibrant Latin American flavours.

After graduating college, she followed her passion for cooking to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she trained professionally. She began her culinary career in 2013 and moved to Australia in 2015, beginning an international journey that has taken her to live and work across Australia, Germany, Canada and the Caribbean, while travelling to more than 40 countries.

With experience in restaurants, cafés, bars and private yachts, Valentina brings a creative and curious approach to her cooking. She loves discovering new flavours and techniques and, above all, creating food that feels personal and memorable for her guests.

When she’s not in the galley, Val enjoys travelling, sailing, diving and exploring new places—preferably with a good meal or a glass of wine waiting at the end. Her cooking reflects the places she’s been, the people she’s met and the flavours she’s collected along the way, always with a touch of her Chilean and Latin American roots.

A passionate and highly adaptable maritime professional, Cortes' journey at sea began at age 17 as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the Colombian Navy. Over the next five years, he found himself in Antarctica, transiting through the Panama Canal, deploying to South Korea and crossing the Pacific.

From the Navy, Cortes shifted to large commercial vessels, expanding his knowledge base. In 2023, he found his true calling in the yachting industry, where his lifelong affinity for navigation naturally evolved into a deep dedication to marine engineering. He's spent the last few years working in the Mediterranean, but is looking forward to returning to his roots in the Caribbean a bit closer to home. You can find him equally comfortable troubleshooting in the engine rooms and on deck with a smile, ready to provide a great experience for guests. 

Cortes hails from Colombia and is excited to spend time exploring the BVI. When he's not on board, he enjoys being active outdoors, especially running and swimming. He has a coffee farm back home, taking pride in brewing a high quality cup of coffee that he's harvested and roasted himself.
