Chartering St. Martin, St. Barts & Anguilla

A yacht charter in the St. Martin, St. Barts, and Anguilla triangle offers a little bit of everything: French-Caribbean charm, glamorous nightlife, and powdery beaches that feel a world away.

While there are some all-inclusive catamaran charters available here, the options are limited since most catamarans base in the BVI. The St. Martin cruising area is better known as a hub for motor yachts and superyachts, with chic harbors, upscale dining, and world-class anchorages that make it one of the most stylish charter regions in the Caribbean.

When to Sail & When to Book

The best time to charter in the St. Martin area is during the winter and spring months (December through April) when the weather is dry, sunny, and seas are generally calm. This is peak season, especially around Christmas, New Year’s, and February when St. Barts fills with superyachts. Summer months (May through July) can also be beautiful with fewer crowds, while late summer into fall (August through October) charter season closes due to Hurricane season.

When to Book: For prime winter weeks—especially holidays and spring break—you’ll want to book 9–12 months in advance to secure the best yachts and crews. Shoulder season charters (May, June, early July, and November) can often be booked closer in, though availability is still limited since many motor yachts schedule their Caribbean and Mediterranean seasons far in advance.

Bonus : Yachts based in St. Martin can be relocated to other islands such as St. Kitts, Antigua, or even St. Lucia. These would be considered separate charter areas and usually involve a relocation fee to position the yacht for your trip.
