day 1

Nassau, Bahamas
Nearest airport : NAS
Begin your charter in Nassau, Bahamas and meet your yacht at your designated marina. The standard check in time is 12pm. Your crew will escort you to the yacht, and hand you a welcome cocktail while they discuss the yachts safety features and the plans for the day.
Next, depart the marina and sail to Rose Island!
Distance from Nassau : 8 NM
Travel Time: under 1 hour
Embark in Nassau and enjoy a short cruise to Rose Island, just east of Paradise Island. Swim in the turquoise shallows, relax on the beach, or snorkel nearby reefs. After lunch, begin your cruise to Highborne Cay, your gateway to the Exumas. Enjoy sunset cocktails and dinner onboard.

Highborne Cay, The Exumas
Distance from Rose Island: 35 NM
Travel Time: 4.5 hours
Spend the day relaxing and exploring all that Highbourne Cay has to offer. Walk the white sand beaches, snorkel the nearby Octopus Garden reef, or take the tender to explore the sand flats and marine life. It’s a perfect day to ease into island life and enjoy watersports in calm, turquoise seas.

Norman's Cay
Distance from Highborne Cay: 15 NM
Travel time: under 2 hrs
Cruise to Norman’s Cay, where you can snorkel the famous sunken drug plane, relax on the beach, and enjoy some of the clearest water in the Exumas. Spend the night anchored in the peaceful bay.

Shroud Cay
Distance from Norman’s Cay: 8 NM
Travel Time: under 1.5 hours
A short cruise takes you to Shroud Cay, a protected gem in the Exuma Cays Land & Sea Park. Spend the day kayaking through mangrove creeks, spotting turtles and rays, and exploring the “Washing Machine” drift current on the eastern shore.

Compass Cay

Sail to Compass Cay to swim with the friendly nurse sharks at the marina. Enjoy the island’s quiet beaches, hiking trails, and crystal-clear waters. Overnight in a serene anchorage or sail to Staniel Cay.

Staniel Cay
Distance from Compass: 8 NM
Travel time: under 1 hr
Cruise to iconic Staniel Cay, where you can snorkel Thunderball Grotto, visit the swimming pigs at Big Major Spot, and explore town. Option for dinner ashore at Staniel Cay Yacht Club or a special meal onboard.
Thunderball Grotto: Site for filming the 1965 James Bond film, Thunderball, swim through an underwater opening, through schools of fish, into this uniquely beautiful world.

Staniel Cay to Nassau
Distance from Staniel Cay to Nassau: 75 NM
Travel time: 6.5 hrs
Spend a relaxed morning and afternoon at Staniel Cay—snorkel one more time at Thunderball Grotto, enjoy the beach, or grab lunch at the Yacht Club. In the afternoon, begin the journey back toward Nassau, with the option to overnight at Rose Island or anchor at a halfway point like Ship Channel Cay to break up the sail. Enjoy your final dinner onboard in a peaceful anchorage under the stars.

DEBARKATION

After a leisurely breakfast, say goodbye to your crew and disembark in Nassau by 12pm. If you have time before your flight, there are plenty of ways to make the most of your final day. Enjoy a relaxed brunch at a beachfront restaurant, explore downtown Nassau’s historic sites and local shops, or unwind at a nearby resort or beach club with a day pass.
For a casual vibe, take a walk along Junkanoo Beach or grab a cocktail with an ocean view. When it’s time, your transfer will take you to the airport—ending your unforgettable Exumas adventure on a high note.
